Après une maîtrise en géographie-sociologie et un master en cinéma documentaire, Tom Fontenille commence à travailler en tant que cadreur et intervient régulièrement dans des ateliers de réalisation. En 2025, il achève un premier moyen-métrage, Mémé Kim (52’). En parallèle, il écrit et tourne Cœur Secret, lauréat du prix "Film en cours" du festival de Belfort Entrevues et présenté en première à Cannes dans la sélection l’ACID 2026.

After studying sociological geography and documentary cinema, Tom Fontenille started working as a camera operator, and regularly intervenes in filmmaking workshops. In 2025, he directed his first mid-length film, Mémé Kim (52'). In parallel, he wrote and shot A Secret Heart, which won the "ongoing film" award at Belfort Entrevues Festival and will be presented at Cannes in the 2026 ACID section.
